Nomsa Mathebula
Ms Mathebula joined Ferloelec as a shareholder and fills the General Manager position in the Hazyview office under the mentorship of Gaye Lourens. She has a certificate in Office Management and attended a Woman in Management training recently. As a qualified communications specialist with a BA in Dramatic Arts she takes the lead on all vital interactions with key clients and suppliers. She also heads up the HR department and has proved that people are her passion. She is closely involved in recruitment, staff training & development, performance monitoring and counselling.
Ferdinand Petrus Lourens
With 32 years of experience in the Electrical industry, Mr Lourens is the CEO of Ferloelec (Pty) Ltd. Mr Lourens is a qualified licensed electrical tradesman and registered the founding partner, Ferdie Lourens Electrical 30 years ago. During this time he has been involved in all major projects including shopping complexes, hospitals, airports and mines to name just a few. His main concern is the provision of quality electrical services to all clients.
Bonginkosi Terrence Mhlongo
Mr Mhlongo is one of our experienced and knowledgeable team leaders with more than 10 years of experience in the electrical industry. He is qualified with a N4 Installation Electrician and Wireman’s licence. Terrence was brought on board to oversee worksites and scheduling of personnel, oversee sites closely monitoring quality of the installations at new construction sites.
He liaises closely with clients, project managers, and team members to identify and resolve issues and convey project progress on remote sites.
Nevil Gilfillan
Is our most senior qualified electrician with a lifetimes experience in the industry in various capacities. Mr Gilfillan’s experience lies in installing, inspecting, and repairing MCC in agricultural systems’ equipment, machines , drives & motors for conveyors etc in heavy industry eg the mines & local crusher. Mr Gilfillan excels at installing new systems for farms and processing plants from initial layout to installation, testing and commissioning.
Jan van Staden
As a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright with a background in engineering and design, Mr van Staden is a valued member of our construction team. With a solid commitment to ensuring first-rate system functionality, he also excels at planning efficient schedules and methods to maximize productivity. Highly detail orientated, with a record of maintaining job safety and ability to assess needs and requirements based on extensive knowledge of electrical codes and building and engineering standards.
Stephen Nkosi
Mr Nkosi has had 8 years’ experience with Ferdie Lourens Electrical. He is employed as a team leader for our HV construction team on Eskom projects, which include MV ( 11000kV – 33000kV) line building, Electrification and Customer connections as well as earhing of installation & structurs. Stephen’s multiple qualifications include Eskom Authorisations: up to 132kv, and all associated safety training for compliance to the ESKOM RAS requirements.
Braam Maher
Highly skilled Maintenance Electrician with 30 years career experience. Mr Maher is a qualified Installation Electrician. In the 30 years he has gathered experience in the mining industry ( local &international) including maintenance and installation of high speed drills, mine drainage pumps, and ventilation etc. He has been tasked with renovation of retail stores and new construction projects.
